A Brief History of the Chrysler Building

Last updated 3 years ago

Dr. Kenn Kakosian’s general and cosmetic dentistry practice is located in one of the greatest buildings in New York: the Chrysler Building. This building is one of the tallest in the world. Here is a brief history of the Chrysler Building.

The Chrysler Building was owned entirely by Walter P. Chrysler and not by the Chrysler Corporation, although the business did operate out of the Chrysler Building for about 25 years, until the middle of the 1950s. The building has a steel frame but is a brick building. Currently, no other brick building stands taller. The Chrysler Building was constructed from 1928 to 1930 and stands at 1,046 feet, which made it the tallest building in the world for almost a year. Eleven months after the Chrysler Building was completed, the Empire State Building was erected at 1,250 feet.

Seasoned dentist Dr. Kenn Kakosian D.D.S., P.C. is proud to operate out of the Chrysler building. Our dental practice provides the New York City area with high-quality teeth whitening, veneers, Invisalign, and more. Call (212) 661-9777 or visit our website to find out more today.
